...Pin 7? $50 robot
« on: April 25, 2008, 08:55:51 PM »
hi all

i have noticed in the schematics of the $50 robot it has 3 purple coloured dots on the microcontroller (pin 7, Pin 21 and Pin 20) So which one is the correct Pin 7
The one I have to plug the following into:
Small Capacitor
Led
Photoresistors
Regulator
ICSP

Can i plug those components into either one of the pins (7, 21, 20)

Next to pin 21 it says (Pin 7)
Do I have to plug everything into that

Note:  I say plug because i am using a breadboard

The three pins you mention all represent the +ve power supply coming from your 5v regulator. You should find they are all wired together - which is why they have the same coloured dot. So it doesn't matter which pins you connect the devices to. If you are using a 9v battery and a 4 AA pack you may find the attachment in this post of use http://www.societyofrobots.com/robotforum/index.php?topic=3292.0
