would the LM393 dual comparator chip work with a SN754410 qaudruple half-h driver work together? chip: http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/prodinfo.asp?number=G32124 and the motor driver: http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/24
If they do work together what modifications should i have to this ( http://www.societyofrobots.com/member_tutorials/files/DC%20Motor%20Driver%201A.pdf ) so that i can hook it up to the comparator

More information on what you're trying to do would be helpful.
If we know your end goal (what your robot is eventually going to do), it would help us tell you how to design a circuit. In the mean time, try googling for comparator and motor driver, usually anything you try to do someone has done before and documented.

im trying to use photoresistor to sense a line(a line follower) the comparator gives the comparison to the motor driver and it tells the motors to speed up or slow down
-
i dont think you need a comparator, you could just use and op amp, like i said, look at the BEAM herbie circuit, it does exactly what you want
-
Well... a comparator is basically an op-amp.. not a huge difference :)
-
i have the circuit that i can use, i just need to know which pins of the comparator would go into the motor driver
-
do a google search on your chip and you should be able to find a data sheet that has all of the pins labled, and then if you still cannot work it out post the data sheet or a link to the site that you got the datasheet from and so we can have a look.
