Book again.

I have been looking for a simple robotics book and I have found the newest is the 3rd edition of robot builders bonanza. In a previous post  i was directed to the older of the 3 books idk if the third one is any good? Please help. Also is robotics for dummies any good ? Please help. thnks.

It's not really all that great mate.

Infact, I hate seeing 'for dummies' books in my room for some reason. They are so badly written im comparison to other books available (such as bonanza and intermediate robot building)

yah thanks im gona look @ that for sure. Do you know of any good projects in the book or should I just slowly go through it from the beginning. Also do you think I should BUy the third edition?? Because I have a gift card for borders books. Thanks.

Robot Builder's Bonanza is a good book to have and you shoud go through all of it. It covers almost all aspects of robot building, giving you all the basic knoledge you may need and some. You will find there several robot projects and lots of resources. The second edition has Lego RCX, Basic Stamp, OOPic, and other microcontrollers, programming, sensors, motors, building robot bases, robotic arms...

Take a look at the electronic version and if you like it, buy the hard copy, it is well worth it.

I agree, i have bought the third adition it covers everthing, i think it is better than the first and second editions.
