Servo and Channel help
« on: January 25, 2009, 03:46:10 PM »
My Dad has confused me now, as he believes that only 1 channel on a controller can only operate 1 servo. It's getting me confused because In the video for the RC all he did was hook it all up and it magically worked! Hard to believe, but so easy to believe when he does it (Because it must be right).

Are there any complications about doing it? Like some sort of programming (hopefully not)

Basically he thinks that forward on the controller can only result in moving one servo, and then left and right another. He also says that the forward stick, and backward stick are each channels? I don't know which parts in those sentences are true, if any or all. (It makes sense when I think about it)

Please enlighten.  ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
 ;)

It entirely depends on the remote control. Some having 'channel mixing'.
