I'm looking at the cost of air muscles for robotics and I need to know a good place to find the polyester expandable mesh sleeving used to cover the muslces. Is that just something I buy at the local hardware store?

Hi,
It is used to bundle wires and exists in diameters from about 2 mm up to ? (I only have it up to 50 mm).
The diameter is measured in "rest" (unstretched and uncompressed).
You can get it in well assorted electronics shops (on- and offline) and I have gotten it from PC-modder shops as well (even in Fluorescent and phosphorescent (i.e. glow-in-the-dark).
For air-muscles, the color probably don't matter.
For the bellow, inner tires can be had in several diameters (racing bicycles to tractor size).

ok I'll call my local electronics store

You can probably buy it at a fabric or craft store, like the types that cater to ladies who sew and stuff. :P

If it's the same stuff that's used for PC cable sleeving, you might try online stores specializing in PC modding.
