I'm going to use the IC cc2500 module(a transreciever manufactured by Texas Instruments) for communication with my microcontroller philips 89v51..Does any one know how to interface and program it? Or any links where I could learn more about operating this transreciever module?

Hi,
Just read the data sheet and the errata sheet carefully. If you still don't know how to use it after reading those 111 pages, perhaps you should go for something simpler or just buy one of the sets that can be had as a complete kit.

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
Please remember...
