Title: Scarab on Discovery Channel

This is a robot meant to explore the moon and even use nuclear power. Educational I think . . .

Its been posted in the forum before, so this is the most updated of videos on it I'm aware of.

The reason it is slow is that in the craters at the south pole of the moon their is no sunlight (ie. you can not use solar power). The solution is to use a radioisotope supply that provides a constant power source for a long time but only a small amount at a time. As a result Scarab needs to drive slowly in order to conserve power.
