Title: Is 3mm Sintra enough to support 5 lbs?

... Or how much do you think it can support on its own? let say making a shelf with only the 3mm sintra

Depends on length and width, and where the force is applied. Also depends on how you define 'support'.

Not breaking? Or just serious bending? Perhaps zero bending (impossible)?
