Title: eBay Ultrasonic R+T

Hello fellows.

I found this pair of emitter/receiver on eBay a few days ago:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/1Pair-R-T-Ultrasonic-Transducer-Sensor-Source-Receiver-/300553606556 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1Pair-R-T-Ultrasonic-Transducer-Sensor-Source-Receiver-/300553606556)

I just would like to know if by reading the seller's specs you can tell if these are good enough for a range finder.

Hi,

Looking forward to see your results :)

If you get into trouble with the direct (unreflected) signal desensitizing the receiver to the ping (reflected), you can make a "collar"/tube of something like foamed neoprene/rubber around each of them to minimize this.
