Title: telescopic actuators

Im looking for linear - telescopic actuators

Ideally, they would extend 3x length and be very durable

does anyone know of a manufacturer or supplier of these actuators?

Not axactly telescopic, but this linear servo may to the trick:

im more looking for something like this

NASA's TeTWalker Robot Prototype (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDT8uE2gpys#lq-hq)

the actual strut has to be self-contained....
any other ideas?
