Title: Fish bots

University of Washington professor, Kristi Morgansen, has been working on these robots for 5 years. With aspirations to someday track large herds of animals and map the bottom of the ocean, communicating wirelessly while they do it. They may look small but are actually about the size of a 10 pound salmon.

Is this design more effective than one with propellers?
I don't think so...Why would they have chosen this form factor?

Actually they're supposed to be "more maneuverable" and are believed to create less drag than a propeller. That's what they say, at least.

they had weight attached to them to allow them to sink...Soz everyone probally realised that...
