Title: [$50 robot] That wire touching the copper.
Post by: Adramalech on March 07, 2010, 08:33:24 AM
Well, we just finished everything on the $50 robot, but it isn't responding to anything.
We checked the wiring, soldering, and made sure it is programmed correctly. (we read it out and it showed the correct hex stuff). We noticed 1 flaw in our soldering, somewhere in the guide it said 'make sure the iron wire (from the led and the resistor) doesn't touch the copper' we saw that our iron wire does touch the copper.

Could this be the problem with our robot (as in, be the problem that causes it not to move)
