Sandwich line follower robot
« on: February 29, 2008, 06:36:21 AM »
I want to build a Simple line follower which uses phototransistor n comparator...

I'm guessing the circuit is basically a "PHOTO DETECTOR Circuit" as it is here...
http://home.cogeco.ca/~rpaisley4/PhotoDetectors.html

Suppose the robot is going on a white line with black background....
THe LED in the 'photo dectector circuit ' will be on..thus allowing current to the Motor...

Two such circuits on either side with 2 DC motors will be sufficient for a LINE following robot...

Do you think I'm right?... can I do it like this..??
