Auto Reversible Linear Actuator
« on: June 05, 2012, 06:31:09 PM »
Hi, I'm currently working on my project which requires me to use a linear actuator that is able to move up and down automatically without needing a switch. I'm using a 1" 12V linear actuator. Currently the only way for me to switch the direction of the linear actuator is by switching the polarity connection on the battery. Can anyone suggest the easiest and cost effective method where I can make this linear actuator move up and down continuously? Thank you!

Sounds like an application for an H bridge.
I get paid to play with robots - can't beat that with a stick.
