Picture of Robocat (I hope). I called it Crusader but my wife said Robocat. So..... Robocat it is!
Today I downloaded my first simple program to Robocat...and it worked
. I used an example program for the Sabertooth motor driver from WebbotLib. The program drives Robocat forwards and backwards and proves that the Axon2 MCU is working and talks to the Sabertooth motor driver.
Thank you Webbot, the WebbotLib is brilliant and I would recommend it to anyone using the Axon MCUs.
Next, Bluetooth for remote control, and photoresistors for light detection. I have also mounted 2 Sharp IR rangefinders on Robocat but they will have to wait.
Will keep you all posted and will attempt to post a video.
