robots and rockets?
ComputerGeek:
IMPORTANT: Amin please do not Ban me for this post I'm just exercising my mind.
--- Quote --- "Now what would happen if we equipped a robot with a high resolution camera and plenty of bottle rockets with a guaranteed ignition source, and had it programmed to shoot at moving things..... would that be ethical"
--- End quote ---
I think at this point we have blown our noses with ethics and tossed out the window so now I feel it is a good time for my two cents ;D . The concept you want to examine for the guidance system would be Proportional Integral Control see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proportional-Integral-Derivative_controller . This would give you the varying position of the moving object and one could derive a lead time for the shot. a high res camera wouldn't be needed just tie in some radio-frequency proximity detectors into a network of LM380 Op-Amps to decide which direction the robot should aim. If(mov_obj = FrontSensor) { Fire(1); Return 0;} . I look forward to reading of your arrest on the news ;D .

lol, fun fun fun, Also my mom wont let us get bottle rockets(except the bigs one that fly way up there and have the big effects) because she thinks i'll start a fire.
Doesn't the army have radio controlled robots incorporated with some things? and arent robots slowly making there way into every part of our lives? wait.... OH NO..... ROBOTS ARE TAKING OVER, QUICK EVERYONE GET AN EMP GUN
