I have graduated from Ankara University Electronics Engineering Department this year. I have been working on robots for 3 years. Here is my last line follower robot to be participate in robot competitions will be held in 2011, Turkey.

hi what are the motors you used in this robot?

I wonder how long it is before the world champion slot car racer is a robot
that would be awesome to watch as the slotcars can reach speeds of up to 100 mph on tracks little wider than scalextric
Ive seen and done some crazy things in my time but this always leaves my brain well and truly fried !

there is no such thing as anticipating a corner at these speeds , its just micro second instinct timing your braking, your ears being more important than your eyes
at the end when hes cruising to a halt on the brakes its done by induction braking. If i recall correctly the motors spin about a quarter of a million revs a minute. Track is not magnetized but they use special sticky spongy tires and spray stuff on the track
