Looked at raidentech for cheap and reasonable servos
But ....Can anyone tell me the difference ?
18G Micro RC Servo for SD R/C Airplane and 18G Micro RC Servo for SD R/C normal series ?
I looked up the specs but the specs are not clear about if it will work like the HS311 modified ?
Are they durable ? Or better buy the HS-311, then which series ? 90,180 degrees rotation ?
Anyone experience with these servo's ?

yea, i was wondering about this too. i dont think servos have specific things that say you can only use them. but id say you would need to make sure it has enough torque and possibly speed.

They will work like the 311 modified. Those 18 grammers are mini/micro sized servos, not standard sized like the 311. If you want the cheapest servos, www.hobbycity.com (http://)

Which one do you recommend from hobbyking ?
I have seen the HX5010 but do I still have modify it ? Or can it turn contineously ?
Anyone experience with these servos ?

I ordered the HX5010 ....waiting now ....the reviews were very good about these servo's..

I got all the servos for the Mini Eric robot from Hobbyking. The HX5010 I allready modified for continuous rotation by removing the pot and soldering 2 2k7 resistors, removing the pot clip and cutting the stopper on the output gear. I didn't test them yet because I need to mount the wheels and program the robot, but by removing the pot I wanted to create room for an internal encoder that I'm going to build soon. Probably over the following weekend I'll be able to complete the robot and do some testing.
