I like the arm design from admins ERP platform and I'm sure they were custom order but any idea of were to get them from?

do you have access to a mill or cnc so you can do what admin did and do it yourself

if not you may still be able to do it your self, i did for a school project which i can post as i don't have

i just used a coping saw/jewllers saw to cut out the fram  and the detail and used  a heat gun to bend the claws ;D

and finally i have never seen arms like admins in a shop or on a site so i'll have a look and get back to you ???

You cant buy the arms from admins ERP becasue he made them himself.  If you ask nicely, admin might give you the (probably eagle?) files on the arms and you can then order the arms to be built for you through a CNC machining company.

these two thing contradict each other?

Admin uses Autodesk products to design his robots. He also does stretch analiss on the parts, but I forgot the name of the software and I'm too lazy to look it up. He used a CNC to cut out all the parts for his ERP robot from Delrin material. So the arms were custom built not ordered. Perhaps send him a PM for the files?

Most likely Autodesk Inventor.  A good way to make parts like admin's is a scroll saw.  First you draw something up in whatever cad program you have.  Then you print it out 1:1.  After you have the printout rubber cement it to your workpiece and cut it out.  I recommend cutting close then finishing up with sanding.  A scroll saw will run you ~$100-$150.

Entirely in Autodesk Inventor. The technique is called 'FEA-based stress analysis' :P

I can upload 1:1 dimensions for printout, .ipt or .stl or .iges files, and even CNC code if you'd like.

I've decided to open source the entire ERP. I'll get up mechanical designs, assembly instructions, and full source code.

It'll take me awhile, of course, but check back occasionally and annoy me every ~2 weeks if I didn't get it all up :P

Here you go:
1:1 ratio printable dimensions of ERP

And all the software, plus other stuff:

I'll be putting up a video on how to assembly it sometime this week.

as soon as i can get my hands on some dammed hdpe ill have a go! admin, are those plastic cutting boards i have made out of hdpe? the only place i found that sells hdpe in sheets is mcmaster.com but shipping to aus would be hell...
it would be a bit better just to go down to safeway and get a few boards if that works...

bravo admin! all dimensions are in inches?

is this becuse you work in cm or mm and don't know how to covert them if so 1 inch = 2.54cm

so to work out 1.35 inches it is simple    1.35*2.54 =3.429

hope i understood

HDPE won't work for the arms - its too soft and flexible. You can use acetal, delrin, or nylon. Whatever is cheaper in your country.
