I really want a roomba or scooba, but I'm not willing to drop much money on one. I always see busted ones go for cheap on ebay. If I were to buy a busted one, do you think It would be easily repairable?
(busted meaning they say it goes in circles, or battery problems)

Hi, no the roomba is hard to fix. They use S.M. parts so the P.C.B. traces are small. The motor uses a belt to the gearbox which can break. I took a fast look on their web site and didn't see any belts for sale.

I've had mine ripped apart a couple dozen times for cleaning over the past two years, and do not recall seeing this belt anywhere. A few gears that have gotten chewed up by my girlfriends hair, some motors clogged with dust, but no belt.
Best bet for price is to go with a refurbished unit, or picking up a cheap broken unit and do roomba's trade in program. I've done both, my first unit was a refurb, second unit was a trade up of the refurb after it died from ingesting too much hair.

I've noticed my roomba discovery battery getting old real fast . . . It self discharges 100% in like a week, and seems to be getting worse every time I use it . . . which in total was probably ~20 times . . .
I'd be willing to sell it to you ~3 months from now, as I'm moving and don't want to deal with it. Just send me an email in 3 months if you are still interested. Minus the battery its in great condition and I still have the box too.

I'm constantly picking out long girl hair tangled in the brushes . . . :(

The best investment I made for that was the pet accessory kit. Stiffer bristles on the brush and a nice brush cleaning tool that pulls all the long hair off the brush, but it still finds its way into and around the gears some how.

Admin, still selling your roomba?
how much?
shipping to southern cali?
-
Hmmmm still not sure yet - ask me in early September. Shipping to Cali would probably be ~$30.
If I sell it, it'd probably be for ~60% price of a new one. But don't quote me on that yet . . .

i want to know does this roomba robot really good in cleaning or it just an advertising coz it seems a really small robot to store the dust after cleaning and it would take alot of time to clean a living room for example
