Title: how many motrs do i need.

first off i want to make an rc tank with tracks instaed of whells i want diff drive. how many motors would i need for tracks and how do you control the speed of motors with an rc.

you can control the speed of your motors using a speed control

if you want diff drive youll need to get an h bridge. for a fairly simple one look at the $40 robot tutorial and take a look at the one used in that.

You know if you wanted to use stepping motors for a tank you could just find one of SmAsh's junk printers and you have enough motors for a few tanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well every since you got owned  ;D i've been checking out previous post and have be having a blast!  Just keeping in mind that some people aren't that stupid here and theirs no harm in not knowing something. ;)

hey Smash did you really build a sonar bot ?

I tried sending you email about it so as not to embarrass  you on the forum , but i need to know another approach that worked on a sonar bot.



Still waiting ,   if you don't reply by tomorrow I'll assume there was no sonar bot and it was all just a lie ....

it was a guy pretending to be a girl.
in his profile he had his site.
on the homepage it said made by (male name)

and some more stuff the didnt fit
