Title: Axon with Blackfin documentation
Post by: Penth on September 26, 2008, 09:19:43 AM
Hey admin, I don't know if I missed the update somewhere but did you document the Axon to SRV-1 camera interface? I'm currently deciding if I need to use something as strong as the Axon to control my robot or if a $50 robot controller could hook up to the SRV-1 camera.

I'm building an outdoor, differential drive robot to have roomba like features(not a lawnmower) that needs object detection(vision) that needs to be as minimal as possible which makes a camera/processor like the Blackfin ideal although the $200 is almost too steep.

Penth, sorry for the late reply. It's not linked on the main site because I never got around to getting the tutorial out of rough draft form. I keep promising people I'll finish it, but it keeps getting pushed to low priority on my long list of things to do . . .

If you have questions, just let me know.

Will do. In between work and fixing up a room for a baby, I'm going to try to work on my hexapod and object tracking robot to be detailed later.
