Title: router + arduino
Post by: vipulan12 on August 10, 2012, 06:17:10 PM
Hey guys I am trying to find out how to access my arduino through wifi
I have seen multiple videos where people connected routers to their rc cars.
I also noticed that they had ethernet shields with ethernet cables connecting to the routers

so could someone give me a link to a tutorial so i could learn how to do the same thing with my arduino

thanks

How did i miss that?
thanks for tutorial
but if i wanted to connect the arduino to internet via Wifi would i have to convert the  router into a wireless bridge?

Or You can go with Arduino WiFi shield  ;D

which would you choose?

My choice would depend on whether I'd have access to wired connection. If no wired access is available, then wireless is the only option.

how would i hook it up and how does the software play in all this?

this is where i am completely lost

Are You serious? First tutorial I've linked You to has actual code for Arduino to be used as server and as client, and also how to access Your Arduino via web browser.
