Servo Mounts

My servos do come with the rubber things that Admin described in the tutorial but i am confoused on how to use these to mount the servo to a surface.

Rubber grommets are for cushoning, you slide those into the holes on the servo tabs and you screw them into the thing your mounting it to. You'll have to buy mounts if you want to do it the way Admin did in his tutorial.

Well then cnc some parts out, it aint harder than that. Then its professional. If you don't got a cnc machine, then ducktape the shit out of it. It doesnt help it looking professional if it aint professional. Or just buy a servo mount...

Basically it's a drill, a milling machine or a lathe... controlled by a computer.

Double sided sticky tape doesnt look like anything at all... super strong bond that doesnt even show.

Seriously, your first robot, 12 years old, little money, you don't need "professional". Heck, use duct tape, you aren't going to be selling these things. You won't get far into robotics if you are always searching for professional ways to do everything. Don't waste crimps on some 50-cent photoresistors, don't wast $10 on servo mounts.

50c! my photosensors are $2.50 each! and i crimp them incase they will be usefull later on in life!

Its just ive like gone into detail about using nuts and bolts and screws and drills for everything else, and from the image i imagine it will look pretty proffesional, so i just wanted to continue making it look good.

I wanna show to my form tutor in class too(once ive added the IR thingy that makes it follow objects) so i wanna show off to him which means it will need to look good (he's not eaisly impressed).

Sound Nice, and i will use them for future projects. But i dont want to spend anymore on the $50 robot until i but the IR rangefinder and stuff..
