Are there any events similar in the Midwest?  I'm talking Kansas area?

The Kansas City Robotics Society meets the 1st Saturday of every month at Science City in the Union Station.
We have been around for about 7 years and would love to have everyone come and participate.

The FIRST robotics competition is underway and the regional is from March 4-6. The actual build started on January 9th but if you just feel like watching some robots you could check it out.
Also quick question to kc_joec, anyone from the KCRS coming by to watch?

I will be down on Friday to watch, and several of our members are either mentors or helping out.
Our group has been helping with the First competition since they came to KC.
