Hello everyone.
To construct the robot $ 50 atmega8 is required, however do not get this micro. What would be the recommended micro without changing programming software?
The atmega328 can be used?

Pretty much.
You will have to check the exact register names and compare - I have seen differences between other similar AVR chips. Usually not that hard to fix given a data sheet. Things like timer masks and PWM setup bits are likely to change.

I get paid to play with robots - can't beat that with a stick.
