lol that bot has potential. Something was tripping it up though. Probably it was programmed for an entirely different culture/language and also is in a very noisy/echoy location.

:D :D :D :D   Hilarious video    ;D ;D ;D ;D
The speech recognition is pretty bad on that -- that robot head situation was exactly what happened on myu butler bot before I used vista speech recognition.

Example:
Me: Chives, turn right
Chives : I am turning right
Me : Stop!
Chives: Going Forward
ME : Clear all outputs now!
Chives: Pouring you a drink sir!
Me : Exit!
Chives : Spinning....

You can imagine the mess that Chives made ! ( imagine coca cola flying everywhere with a robot that can't stop)  ;D

P.S. I stopped it with a kill switch  ;)

Well airman, I noticed a horrible malfunction in your robot. This error is so horrible, im surprised your robot didnt explode. Now dont get too excited or too frightened, but based on what you said, it appears that "windows vista" was used in your robot.

But we can fix this. All you have to do is surgically remove the HDD, properly quarantine it, and set it on fire. A reformat is not good enough. That HDD is forever tainted.

I don't know why everyone hates Windows so much. I know Linux is better ( for robots ) but I found that Vista had the best Speech recognition for me to implement. It offers more than 95% accuracy !

I wanted to switch to Linux , but the speech recognition that I can put on Linux isn't as good as vista's

I might load the old program with the old speech recognition and take a video, just for your entertainment!

really? have you ever actually used vista? i have it on my home computer (actually, i am using it right now  :o ) and it is pretty good (i just like the flashy effects and constant security checks whenever i try to open a program that didn't come with the comp  ;D )

lol yeah I have used Vista actually. And thats why I hate it :P I have run into so many problems and glitches on it. Every single time I use it or see someone use it, I see a glitch... The OS has some serious potential, Ill admit that. I would consider buying it in another year or 2 provided they actually work on it to fix its bugs. But for now Ill stick with my better version of Windows and use XP.

i thought vista was ok until the drivers and stuff wouldn't work for my gps thing.

and i dont like xp that much either. i set some security settings low in ie7 and it wouldnt let me get on sites without asking if i wanted to continue. GOD DAMIT i set those setings. i want them  >:(

Then maybe you should try linux...... Windows has nothing on modding when it comes to linux. The thing with it is that linux is just the operating system, Gui just attatch to it and therefore you can get lots of different types and styles of gui, which are usually fully moddable (and most are open source allowing you to make code changes and recompile)

I admit to using windows most of the times myself although all of my pc's have linux/windows fifo boot selects on them
