Title: wireless audeo video transmitter

i wanna use a surveillance camera and wireless audio-video transmitter on my landmine detacting robot.

kinda confused on how to transmitt the video signal.

also wanna know from where to purchase a cheap camera for the purpose.

this could be an option, its good as a handheld viewer and camera are supplied

Here's a few lower end options too. Small, wireless, and cheap.  RCA output to TV.

Hmm those look really sweet. Have you tried them out yourself? After looking at them, I feel like getting a gumstix, putting one of those cameras on board, and controlling the robot via wireless (or bluetooth) from a main computer.

I actually just got one the other day for a snake robot research project.  Obviously not professional movie quality, but I was actually surprised at how not horrible the quality is.  Audio is very sensitive too, you have to turn the TV volume way down to prevent feedback.  One down side is don't expect exactly what's in the picture.  I got the "middle" version of the three advertised on that page.  It shows one plug on the camera for power, but the one I got had 3: power and redundant wired audio and video. And it wasn't til after I chopped the cable that I realized there was a tiny voltage regulator circuit molded in plactic at the 3 way T for the connectors.
