Hello Programmers / People!
I'm new to all this programming stuff, well actually, I program my self, but i'm new to robot programming... Anyways, I've read the under $50 robot tutorial, and i was wondering if someone could give me a place or a shop where I could buy a half made robot, or parts for one, by the way, this may be difficult I live in the United Kingdom. UK. I got confused for finding the parts. And I'm really exciting to make my first robot, and experiment with the code. And then maybe learn from robot programming, and become better, and learn from my mistakes, what I am willing to do.

so you want to start on the $50 robot but dont know where to get the parts from? if so check this out. http://www.societyofrobots.com/step_by_step_robot_british_parts.shtml (http://www.societyofrobots.com/step_by_step_robot_british_parts.shtml) although if you have a small electronics store near you go check it out. they normally carry electronic components.

http://www.rapidonline.com/ (http://www.rapidonline.com/) are excellent for the electronic components - assuming you can buy online.
If not - then you will be stuck with high street shops like Maplin. Check their website http://www.maplin.co.uk/ (http://www.maplin.co.uk/) for a list of all their shops. They are quite expensive and you need to know that for the 'components' you need to find the service desk as they dont have the components on the shop floor.
Servos - I can give you some UK websites if needed. Or go to a high street radio control model shop.
Track down what you can and if you have any 'gaps' then let me know..
