ASCII Terminal Software That Supports Escape Sequences?
« on: April 28, 2013, 05:47:15 AM »
Does anyone know of a free terminal that supports ASCII escape sequences. I need to clear the screen, home the cursor, send it to a specified position etc. for formatting data output. There's an issue with PuTTY using RTS even without flow control so it won't connect to an AREXX RP6. Everything else I've downloaded completely turns off flow control but ignores escape sequences. I fear I may have to write my own, which will slow down my research a lot.

May the elephant of delight carry your heaviest burden, and the badger of despair bite your worst enemies!

It works!   :)
