I would like to enter my customized ER1 robot into the contest (I'll say the specifics about what it does later), but it was a kit I bought, which was not 100% designed and built by me.  Can I still enter it into the contest or does it have to be completely original?

Thanks in advance and may the best robot(s) win.  :)

I judge 80%+ of your robot entirely by how informative/useful your tutorial is.

For example lets say you make a Segway robot . . . entirely not original . . . but if your tutorial is so useful a complete noob can make your robot you'd probably get my vote. My $50 Robot tutorial is a perfect example.
