My 1st robot...

hi again !
many mounths ago i made a topic like this but i could find it now !
because i wasnt here for a long time and cause of many reasons i couldnt continue my work on my robot,now i want to resume it and i should say that my time is short  and i really need your help.
ok now i say that what kind of robot i want to build.
i want a robofire.i mean a robot with ability to find and turn off the fire.
ok as my 1st step i want to know that what kind of senor should i use and about its circuit schematic.
for example can i use infrared LEDs??? can some body give me its schmatic?

um noe i have a question,can i change that IR with a heat sensore like PTC or NTC??
and also i want another thing,can some body gimme the schematic of my motors circuit? i have two 12V,DC motors,how should i run em?
and...
THERE ISNT ANY BODY HERE WITH EXPERIENCE IN THIS FIELD?I MEAN NOONE HEAR DIDNT WORK ON FIRE ROBOTS???U DONT KNOW ONE? :)

Depends on the sensor. Look at the datasheet and see what the output is.

Search for motor driver and H-bridge. I personally recommend buying one, not making one.

tnx mate but.... i dont know anything about motor and motor drivers.
can u tell me more.i couldnt find smth useable from the site  :(

No offense, but Admin or anyone else on this site won't be able to make advancements in robots if we spend all our time answering the same questions over and over again.

Search the forum, search the site index, search google, then come back and ask specific questions.

The use is to answer good questions. Not questions that we have answerred 1000 times already...

ALL of your questions can be easily answerred by just searching the forum and reading the FAQ and tutorials.

Hey no flaming everyone. Seriously.

The point of the forum is to help you when you are stuck, and/or when the web doesn't have answers . . . Remember, I am helping you and 2500 other members in the forum. I sacrifice hours every day helping out on SoR without anyone paying me for it. I request everyone to spend at least 20 minutes thinking and searching before asking questions.

Besides, if you don't research the question first, it might make you look dumb if you ask something totally obvious :P
