Whats the name of this robot and from which movie did it come form?

found the answer: its called the ED 209 from Robocop

Is this feasible to make(no guns needed for now)? I mean rather this then a full size BRAT biped?

Should be doable as long as it shifts it's weight a bit while walking.
I bet it wouldn't fare too well on rough ground, though.

Scariest robot ever - in my book.

you mean coolest
I think I will build a biped based off the BRAT and eventually make it look like the ED 209 (since it will be super awesome) ;D

Heh heh, that reminds me of a Simpsons episode, which made fun of BattleBots (one of those fighting robot shows). The grand champion was a robot that looked identical to that robot (I knew they were copying it from something, but I didn't know what movie/show it was from). :D ;D So, it seems to me that using this design for mech wars (or BattleBot, whatever you call it) is an older idea that's been around since the movie or show(s) came out.

Yeah, it's pretty scary, but not as scary as... C-3PO. :o That dead, golden, nonblinking face peers to the bottom of your soul, I tells ya! Lol, just kidding. :P
