Title: really great op-amp tutorial for beginners
Post by: Admin on December 15, 2009, 11:40:18 PM
Another fine video from afrotech.

Remember when analyzing an op-amp, transfer the voltage at + and place it at -, then do simple Ohms law analysis to solve for the rest of the circuit.

Just to add one thing... that's not exactly correct. The rule to keep in mind is that when op amps are in negative feedback mode, the voltage at + is the same as the voltage at -. Solving the voltage at one or the other may be easier, and then you can just let the other node be the same voltage as the first node. Op amps that are not in negative feedback mode will have different behaviour.

i didn't see a shred of scrap tinfoil or cardbourd in that entire guide >: (

but seriously very good guide! it actually was a great help in studying for my final test for an analogue electronics class i'm taking in college.
