hi
I need a voltage regulator , that can tolerate about 3 Amps
I'll use a 18v NiCd battery ,15v would be ok
I don't know what regulator to choose
will this one do it ?
http://www.datasheetarchive.com/pdf-datasheets/Datasheets-22/DSA-423669.html
what do you suggest?
thanks in advance,
sorry for english mistakes

Those regulators will work. Just don't forget to use a large enough heat sink.
The power dissipation will be:
Heat (Watts) = current (Amps) * Voltage drop from input to output of regulator.
