Question on 2nd power bus on $50 robot

Looking at this picture:

I see how the regulated 5V is feeding the power bus on the left hand side (via the purple wire). My question is, what is this second strip, on the right side, connected to the positive end of the cap? The thing that runs parallel to the ground on the right side? What kind of power is going to that? Is it not another array for sensors? And if so, don't we want a nice, regulated 5V going to that array too?

Whoops, that's the servo bus. It all makes sense now - we want a constant voltage going to the uc and the sensors, but we want to give the motors all the juice we have. Sorry for the noise!
