Maybe you should try calling them and giving them your order number.

Both acroname and pololu are reliable shippers, I order through both.

However, my last acroname order that I did 2 weeks ago, 3 sharp IR's only, took 2 weeks to arrive . . .

$25 is not too much.

i shipped a 3x4x4 box weighting next to nothing from GA to NY and it was $9 something.

Let's not start bashing the companies that are supplying us robot builders with materials for our hobby... Companies like Pololu, Acroname, Budget Robotics, Sparkfun, etc. are all great companies, but are very small and don't have the opportunity to make lots of money with high volume sales.  These companies are trying to provide good quality products and excellent customer service and still squeek out a meager profit (which they are most entitled to!).  To help keep product cost down, they need to offset their costs with shipping and handling charges that enable them to make a "reasonable" profit.  Unless someone can show me a picture of the owners of Pololu on their own private mega-yaght, I do not believe that we should be questioning their pricing and shipping charges.

in shipping, price doesn't matter, size does. If you have a $9 part that is the same size as a $500 part, shipping is going to be the same.

I charge 25 for all my overseas clients. Its a pretty standard number.
15 is your standard for different country but not over seas, 10 is for in country, 5 is for really freakin small stuff :)
