I'm planning a trip to Japan from mid to late March, and will definitely go see RoboOne during that time.

Anyone else going?

I haven't quite figured that part out yet. My beautiful evil assistant has been to Japan four times already, so I need to make sure not to bore her by going to places she's already been, or dragging her to too many robot events

If you decide to see the Southern end of the country let me know.  I live on the island of Kyushu.  There is a lot to do and see around the Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kumamoto area.  Also, if you find yourself in Fukuoka, you might like to check out Robo Square:

Its official!

I'll be generally AWOL in Japan for the next 20 days.

And it'll probably take another week to catch back up . . .

I filled up 2.5 GB of camera memory card at RoboOne, and drained two batteries before the final round . . .

Nothing incredibly amazing, but still fun video to watch. I'll get up pics and video when I'm back home in Bangkok. Like 2 more weeks . . .

I just got back from my 16 day trip.

After I answer a billion emails in my mail box, I'll get back to finishing up the SoR contest and answering robot questions.
