i have was wondering if it is possible to have the motors run from a different battery then my receiver

P. where can i get 2 identical windshield wiper motors.

thanks i found the motors

now i am just concerned on there amperage can any one help me with there amps

You can power every component of your project with a separate battery if you want.  I could have one battery for my AVR, one for my sharp IR distance sensor, one for each servo, one for each motor, and one for my receiver.  Just make sure that the parts that communicate with each other via voltages share a common ground, and be careful not to hook things up wrong (e.g. in a way that would short two different voltages together, such as the 5 V terminal of one battery to the 9 V terminal of another when they share a common ground).

Why not call Electronic Goldmine and ask them?  I'm pretty sure they could give you the information you need.

what receiver? you mean ESC or motor driver perhaps?

Several problems with that ESC:

1) its for brushless motors
2) it only controls one motor, not two

 :P

what is the difference between brush and bruchless motors also does any one know of a motor like them that is cheap

or is there a way to make them brushless?

mostly hobby airplane stores

is there a way to hook brushed motors to my rc reciver?

i say a youtube video on a guy used 2 of thise motors to make a rc mower

i can't find it but i will keep looking

yeah it's been mentioned. it's called a ESC (electronic speed controller)

it'll also adjust speed based on how much force you put on teh remote controls
