I just replyed to you other post, so you probably know the hub ideea (as videorov also sugested) . Thinking about the Cat5 cable, I think it is a little stiff. If you don't need to tether the sub, use a more flexible cable. A 2 wire shielded audio cable would be much better, since you don't need to transfer power for the USB, just ground (shield) and the 2 signal lines. If you do need to tether the sub, try to use more of the shielded audio cables. You may want to find a larger sleeve and pull it over the audio cables to keep them together, or just tape them together from place to place.
