Im looking for a camera I can pan left and right and maybe up and down some.
I would like to be able to pan up to 180 degrees left and same to the right.
I don't need to pass through the 180 degree point.
Im also looking for a clear plexiglass round container in a tube shape. Maybe 4" diamater and
maybe 4" tall. I will cap the ends with plexiglass aswell while building project.
Im building a underwater camera system and want to be able to pan around and up and down.

Any help for the parts would be great.

The Logictech would be nice but USB doesn't work over long distance Ive found. Ive used USB
booster cables on some usb cameras and the problem is the power to the camera doesn't seem to
go to far. If you put a hub which has power to it then the camera will stay on. I think the usb signal
make it but not the low voltage.
Ive been using regular video board cameras and they seem to work fine at 100ft with 12volts.

I wonder if Cat5 cable could carry the usb signal and power to the camera 100ft?

I just replyed to you other post, so you probably know the hub ideea (as videorov also sugested) . Thinking about the Cat5 cable, I think it is a little stiff. If you don't need to tether the sub, use a more flexible cable. A 2 wire shielded audio cable would be much better, since you don't need to transfer power for the USB, just ground (shield) and the 2 signal lines. If you do need to tether the sub, try to use more of the shielded audio cables. You may want to find a larger sleeve and pull it over the audio cables to keep them together, or just tape them together from place to place.

doesnt have to be in your house per say , could be for a business

most construction companies have a  CNC machine , maybe a local one can help you out
