Title: amphibious water strider robot

I thought this was pretty cool. It walks into the water, then swims around:

How would you calculate the torque the shoulder servo should get? Because the force is applied at the really end of the lever, so it must be quite high no?

Btw, I know I'll give a try to a robot of this kind to swim accross my little pond. When I get better in robotic :D

im going to build a hovercraft soon, after my exams.

Im going to use the shell of a RC hovercraft.
