Title: where to get stuff in Japan?

I hope SoR has members from Japan!
I have recently relocated to Japan. My robots are still packed in shipping boxes. I'm planning of opening them soon.

The main question, does anybody know of a shop in Akihabara or anywhere in Tokyo that has embeddable boards for use in robotics? I know Akihabara has tons of electronics but I haven't been to every corner shop there. Also most sell non-robotic electronics, PC parts mostly.

Any help will be good.

Akihabara is great but its big and confusing!
I there three years ago,  when I came back I found this google map of the main robot spots made by the guys at robot dreams

I wish I had it when I was there, I didn't find any of the robot shops by randomly searching :(

rgcustodio, haven't seen you around lately!

I was planning to go to Japan this month actually, but the economy just keeps getting worse so I think I should save my money for now . . . got a robot [addiction] to feed and all . . . and no robot competitions this month in Japan that I know of.

Sorry admin been very busy with work.

Well today I went to Akihabara to try and find these shops... hahaha I got lost... should have brought a copy of the map. I only found the Kondo shop.

I also found a shop not on the list Wakamatsu http://www.wakamatsu.ne.jp/ (http://www.wakamatsu.ne.jp/) they are not robot specific but they do have some. I bought an ARM-based controller board today :-)
