helical gear

Sorry i have a noob question.

If i use 2 similar helix gear with 45 degree helix angle, connected together to form a change of the direction of rotation(much like bevel gear), is the torque & speed still the same?

Since i need to change the direction of my rotation, is using helical better option than bevel and worm gear?

yeah, you'll just be abel to transmit more torque (cars use them)


worm drive has a very high gear ratio reduction and is sometimes a one way deal. (worm can turn bevel, but not ther other way around)

anyone knows how to draw helical gear in Pro-E? I cant seems to draw the helix angle line in which my 2d profile gear tooth extrude along it.
