Brian and I are teaching a full-size course next semester based on our
Stuco, Gadgetry 101.  We aim to go into sufficient detail about how to
design circuit boards that people completing the course can be
independent gadget designers.  Here's the pertinent info to forward to
your members and FWR students.

Title:  Gadgetry
Description:  This course explores the confluence of engineering and
design in the context of gadgets: intelligent, interactive electronic
devices made from scratch with custom printed circuit boards. Students
will learn about circuit board design, microcontroller programming,
sensors and actuators, and how to make and evaluate design decisions
in the gadgetry space.  Students will create several gadgets, with
particular attention paid to areas where traditional "dev kit" or
"breadboard" prototyping falls short, such as portable, mobile, and
miniature devices.

Number: 16-250 or 51-364 (for design students)

Units:  9

Times:  TR 3-4:20
