so i had some extra servos and i decided to make another super cheep robot. this time instead of CDs i decided to make my own wheels. they're cardboard intensive but are super sturdy and have really good traction

essentially they're cd sized cardboard disks glued together (5 per wheel) with the outer part made of cardboard strips with the paper removed on one side to expose the corrugated lining.
the human controlled robot might have won if it had these :P

They're great, love em.

good idea

another good idea Blackbeard, very innovative. ;D

they're pretty durable too. even though i glued them with hot glue the only thing i've managed to crush are the treads.
-
do you still have good traction after the treds are crushed.

I can't help but love how the RC Robot gets its ass beaten :P

ya it doesn't really do anything to the function of the treads.

that's good, it may be a good, basic tutorial that admin could add a link to the $50 robot page as it is in the spirit of the robot.

Nice idea
