So I was reading over on the trossen robotics forum about a LIDAR project and wondered if anyone had any experience with that kind of thing here. I'm very interested in learning how it's done. I know all you need is a webcam and a line laser. The math and algorithms to make it work is sort of what I'm looking for. Any suggestions/thoughts feel free to post.
