some robots have very practical purposes.

You would think that all it would take is a PID control to even out the tumble weed. Could probably even use a ball then.

No it wouldn't be remote controlled. It would have sensors of some sort.

If you can imagine, there wouldn't be much point to an intricate machine like that if someone was controlling it.

As was said above, the PID control is very important in an application such as this.
