That is basically what these are.

Do you guys think that something like this would be worth turning into a <$50 robot tutorial or a standalone example? I know it could be done but I am just wondering if there is any interest.

The microcontroller is a Atmega8 the only downside is you only have access to 4 pins without some soldering skills. (INTO, SCK, MISO, MOSI and the relevant pins) But for the price and the convenience of the high current 1/2 bridges its probably worth while.

Oh and for those of you saying I need four bridges, yes technically I do but I am working on a few ways of sharing one between the two motors. I have demonstrated it with just bang bang RC control but getting PWM integrated is still a bit iffy. Basically the drawback is you are limited to when you are turning.

No, that device is to control one BRUSHLESS motor. It will not work as three independent H-bridges to control BRUSHED DC motors.

Yes Yes it will.

My current work

Oh and they are not H bridges, they are 1/2 bridges. 2 1/2s makes a H.
