Title: EAGLE question
Post by: benji on June 03, 2008, 10:22:35 AM
i did draw the circuit using EAGLE schematic , then switched it into a board file ,, the connections there are signals you know (yellow lines)
i want to do autorouting ,,it does it perfectly
the problem is that it does it with 0.4 mm wire width only
i want it to do it with 1.442 mm ,,i did redraw the schematic with 1.442 mm lines but it didnt work,,,
,,any clue?

I think it's one of these two options:
-in the board, click edit-design rules-sizes, and adjust the width
-or try not to type using so much comma's ,,,, ok?

Ι think for auto-route there is a certain width of line...
You draw the lines you want by yourself and then the rest by auto-route...

Eagle is powerful-yes- but cannot read your mind...
Have you tried the Eagle 5 much more user friendly and colors are better for me (more relaxing)
also some other features I haven't searched that much... anyways....

That's it from me...

Yes I have it to, I really like it...
Infact, I'll open a topic about it in the electronics forum. :p
