Servo Continuous Rotation
« on: August 02, 2009, 03:07:16 PM »
my second post;

Hey guys I was working on the first robot tutorial today and I need to modify the Hitec HS-311 servo for continuous rotation and I am not wanting to spend an extra twenty bucks for the dealer to do it for me so I was wanting you guys to post links to tutorials of continuous rotation. Thank You!(in advance) :D

in most cases you must cut the tab and blue the pot head down...
normally only metal geared servos have pins...

if you haven't bought the servos yet you can buy them (being ones for continuous rotation) for about the same as regular ones
i know solarbotics and robotship.us carry them, as well as a couple of other places.

i know its good to know how to mod servos, but, i'm lazy :P
use the google.  it's your friend.

i m with wil,i prefer to buy continuous rotation servos.i m also too lazy  but i agree that learning this technique is just awesome but anyways both cost  the same so i prevent buying servos without mod. ;D ;D

You don't pay them, they come pre-modded at the factory.
